Project 365

Day 122

May 2nd (Saturday): The boys discovered a fun way to spend their shower – together. And of course having fun with the comb.

Day 121

May 1st (Friday): Traveling day for me and my boys. Even though they have been on the planes for many times, they were still excited about getting on board and seeing their father. I was worried for Swine flu. Upon arriving HKIA, everything seems to be under control with more health personnel requesting us to fill in a declaration form. We straight went up to Shenzhen by Taxi.

Day 120

April 30th (Thursday): Little Mer caught red-handed in using my paper trimmer. I took the last chance at home to do a page – Similar.

Day 119

April 29th (Wednesday): Mom brought back two puppies from sis’ neighbor. Of course the boys were super excited about it and wanted so much to feed them, touch them and play with them.

Day 118
[No Picture]

April 28th (Tuesday): Been busy running around town to get things done and has been a busy day at work that I wish I could take a leave.

Day 117

April 27th (Monday): Took leave today after knowing that I can’t get back to the office in time after going to the bank for buying ASN. Went back there to meet up with Andrew the sales person from SUDC to get a unit from the property. I still wonder if this is the right move.

Day 116
[No picture]

April 26th (Sunday): Went over to Rebecca’s home after church. One dreadful thing happened, Cal threw a toy over at Royden and got his upper lip cut. Straight used honey and then went to SMC, but the doctor doesn’t seems to help much and he even commented that it take time to heal as the lips are always wet, ridiculous for me. It turns out that sis brought Royden to Dr. Huang and confirm that it will heal by itself and nothing to worry about. Thank God.

Project 365

Day 115

April 25th (Saturday): Went straight to see South China Sea Place in Asia City show room with the boys and big sis. The boys were excited to see the show unit. We went in big sis’ car at first but found out that it was too hot for the boys to sit behind in the two doors sport car, thus went home to change to my own car instead.

Day 114

April 24th (Friday): The day we went home. We managed to get around town to visit two temples with our Vietnamese friends: Fang and Linh. On their bikes! Excited just to be on the trip.

Day 113

April 23rd (Thursday): Went to Ha Long Bay, Vietnam World Heritage Site which is filled with islands and caves. We could only managed to get into one of the cave. Had lunch on the boat and went visited some handicraft store which me and ML didn’t buy anything.

Day 112

April 22nd (Wednesday): Another day filled with exhausting conference paper. We were more excited to see the food instead. And today is the last day of the conference which we were being treated with yet another good dinner filled with local food and western delicacy. But we still went out afterwards to get our Vietnamese noodle -Pho.

Day 111

April 21st (Tuesday): Been to a day of conference at the 14th CONSAL. Amazingly and surprisingly I found myself be surrounded by librarians all over the Southeast Asia! We went to the Opera House for the Gala night and worn our dresses that we bought the day before in Hanoi silk shop. Enjoyed the night of local performances and amazed by how talented and hardworking they all have been.

Day 110

April 20th (Monday): Another fun filled day but this time feeling exhausted from walking. We’ve been to the public library of Hanoi. They are still using the old system of borrowing. Feel so lucky of what we have at home. ML got stomach ache that evening, so we had our dinner nearby the hotel.

Day 109

April 19th (Sunday): Walk around the streets of Hanoi with ML with these hotel sandals. Such a fun free walk with ML. Discovered such many things about Hanoi and its people. It reminds me of China.

Simple LO

Did this layout before coming here to China. A very simple layout I must say, but it was fun to put together especially with the rub-on. I think I saw this sketch somewhere and wanted to join in the challenge, but later I forgot where did I see it. So here it is. Am using stuff from Color Me Daisy kit and Scrapbook Deals 4 U kit plus my own Making Memories journal pad. This layout is talking about how similar my two boys are even when they are in picture and they didnt’ know what other’s facial expression look like. Real brothers!

Day 108

18th April (Saturday) : First day in Hanoi, Vietnam for business trip. A mixture of feelings to get to know Hanoi where I see a lot of similarity of it with China. Lots of motobikes.

Day 107
[No picture]
17th April (Friday): Actually busy on packing and yet I am working at night shift. Not a wise arrangement.

Day 106
16th April (Thursday): Have to have dinner in Wan Siew’s home ‘cos her sis – Annie is back. Sort of a re-union for us all who went to the Australia trip together years ago when we stayed over in Annie’s place in Melbourne. The boys had a great time there with WS’s nephew.
Day 105
[No picture]

15th April (Wednesday): Can’t really remember what had happened.

Day 104

14th April (Tuesday): The DELL laptop that KF order has finally arrived after much delay. Excited to open it and at the same time thinking if I can really keep it. Like the white cover but dissappointed that it is not while inside.

Day 103

13th April (Monday): Mer actually wasn’t feeling well when he was on the ride. He was having fever but not until I got home that I realise and confirm that he was really having a fever. So he has been a bit grumpy and quiet that night.

A lift

Lifted this layout from Creating Keepsakes’ magazine. I like the simplicity of it and I love these photos of my sons goofing around making fun in front of the camera, they are just so cheeky.

I made this for the circle challenge over in Color Me Daisy. I’ve actually used the pattern paper came in from scrapbook deals for you and the cardstock from CMD kit.

The layout is so simple that I keep on thinking if I should add more embellishment on it, I just felt that it is too simple *LOL*.

Project 365

I’ve just realize that my Day number and Date are not tally, so I’ve made some changes to make them right. Here goes for the recent ones:

Day 102

12th April (Sunday): Easter Sunday. Went to church. Cal has been extra goody today sitting with Aunt Rebecca while Mer never stop disturbing me. We went for breakfast then had some photo time. After that spend some time in Rebecca’s home before heading home and met them again in the evening. Love this photo as it shows how goofy and cheeky they are.

Day 101

11th April (Saturday): The boys will take any chance to go to the farm, have an outing by themselves whenever they see that their grandma is in the field. Here they had to quickly come back in the house as it was drizzling. I love this photo as it reminds me of Dipak (eldest brother).

Day 100

10th April (Friday): Good Friday holiday. Big sis managed to bring the boys to the farm and then to the river. They had a great time there. Like usual, they wanted to stay there till dawn if possible.

Day 97-99
[no photo]
7th April (Tuesday) – 9th April (Thursday): It has been those hectic days trying to catch up with work and also trying to get the boy back to their normal routine. Getting them into bed is one big challenge every night. They’ll try to drag on, talk, play or ask for food.

Day 96

6th April (Monday): Late for work. Anyway, I managed to catch the boys with granny watching TV. Normally from 7-8pm, that is their cartoon hour while we have our dinner. Any change of channel will trigger their anger.

Day 95

5th April (Sunday): Before we headed off to the airport, the boys took those last hours going through those toys again while their cousins were away to cemetery. They had some great fun in the air-port too. Going through a maze to get their stamps and finally got a magnet sticker each. But on the way to the plane, Mer lost it somewhere when he fall asleep. Fortunately they were quite ok on the plane. Save journey home! Once arrived home, didn’t manage to sleep till late at night for unpacking and preparing for the next day to work and school.

Day 94

4th April (Saturday): When down to Hong Kong after our late breakfast. The boys had been waiting for this day to get to HK. One thing for sure is they love those toys in aunt’s place, what more with their cousins to play with.

Day 93

3rd April (Friday): A day out with the boys to WalMart through the park, but we missed the junction and had to turn back. Thank God we manage to find it later after asking a passerby. Love taking their pictures in the open space.

Two cards and a layout

These are the cards made upon request from my sister who wanted 2 thank you cards for her friends. So I’ve used a sketches from Got Sketch (sketch #79) and Beary Box (card sketch #21). It is so much easier with sketches and kits that are already coordinated. I’ve used some scrap and also kits from Color Me Daisy and Scrapbook Deals 4U. Thank God for that.

I’ve done a layout as well over the week, using a sketch from PageMap. But now I couldn’t find it. I read it over at someone else blog about the sketch.

I’m using lots of distressing here on my patter paper and the self-made flowers that I’ve learn online.

These are my boys trying to look goofy in the morning when I wanted to take photos of them.

Happy Monday!

What’s on my mind

Did a page following the sketch over in Page Maps. Another layout using Color Me Daisy March kit plus some Prima essentials 5 flowers and one pattern paper from HOTP from those old kits.

These were us during those days before I got married to hubby (then boyfriend). Amazingly all of us still keep in touch now a days and most probably thanks to the Internet. I’ve hide my journal behind the main photo using journal tag enhanced on white cardstock, completed with a spiral clip.

I feel like putting more embellishment on the page, but couldn’t think of any other.

Paint LO

Did a layout using Pamela Sketch 137 about my boys having fun in the Kiddies Club of Sutera Horbor last month. Thanks Pamela! Thanks to Color Me Daisy for their March kit too, that I’m able to put together this page pretty fast.

It was fun seeing them concentrate in painting. They were excited about it and so proud of their work.

Am using Color Me Daisy March kit which contain Glitz sparrow patter paper, American Craft stickers, Making Memories clip, plus my own Kaiser rhinestone and Bazzill Basic just edge cardstock.

My old but still new kits

Yupe, I’ve got these two to play with since I got them back from my sister. They are suppose to be gift for her to start her scrapbook, but she never get started and probably won’t ever, so she suggested me to bring them back and make good use of them. Yippie!!
I’ve got the January and March 2007 kits of Paperwishes Personal Shopper. Personal Shopper is actually the first kit club that I joined. I’ve learnt a lot from their kits especially when there is a VCD coming together on an alternate month which showing all the techniques to build pages. Each month they have included a bulletin which show how to make beautiful pages, extra tags and cards from their kits.

Here is the January 2007 kit (photos taken from Paperwishes website)

This is the March 2007 kit.

Not sure what I’ll use them for yet, most probably cards.

I’ve got another kit came in today since I only get to work today. March kit for Scrapbook Deals 4 UJilli Bean Soup. Double Yay from me!!

photo taken from SD4u.

What a happy Monday for me.
