Little snowman

It is fun on what you can make with your left over scrap pieces of paper from a kit that you just can’t finish using from making layouts and it is just too little for another layout, so here is one that I’ve used left over little pieces of paper to make a Christmas card.

Again, that cute little brad is from Imaginisce, a gift from Grace Tolman. The chocolate swirl is from Pebbles chips, filled with 20 pieces of cute chipboard. The fabric flower with the center button taken off is from Basic Grey Max & Whiskers.

Yup, start making Christmas card now so you’ll have lots of time to prepare other things and it also help me to used up all those little pieces of left over.

Season’s greetings card

Yes, it is not too early to prepare for Christmas right now, and yes that include making cards for friends and family members.

I’ve started mine, have you?

That little Santa brad is from Grace Tolman, thanks Grace!

The Season’s greetings stamp is from Hero Arts that I’ve just got from Scrap-n-crop, and the paper is from Cosmo Cricket Early Bird mini deck, a gift from Scrap-n-crop. And those flowers are from Prima.

Happy card making!

Raya card

Here is another Raya card that using very basic things from my stash.
The fabric flower and PP is from Basic Grey Max & Whiskers kit.
I’ve die-cut a leave from my Slice and mist it with Maya Road Avocado Metalic. The label sticker is from October Afternoon Thrift Shop range.

Happy scrapping!

Hello card

I love the feel of this card with lots of distressing and it just so happened that I’ve that little strip of lace trim left and it is just nice for this card. And yes, I’m using Martha Stewart’s butterfly punch again. Just love it!

Am using Basic Grey page kit for this card. Initially wanted to do another Raya card, but well.. I need some cards for friends too, so it turned out to be a hello card instead.

Thanks for looking!

Start preparing for cards

Yes, to my Muslim friends, Happy Fasting Month. And to myself, I’ve started to get ready for Raya by making some cards for my colleagues.
Here is one that I did with a lift from Ashley Harris:

I love the simplicity of this card design and the lace as flower center. Using some scrap left over from SD4U kit.
Thanks for looking!
Have a great Sunday!

Sneak peek

Here is a sneak of the card that I’ve made using Prima’s flower, some twine from Studio Calico, Cosmo Cricket paper pack, Martha Stewart’s punch, oh, and those glitter flower stickers (forgot to get down their names).
Yupe, can’t show the whole card right now, ‘cos I haven’t sent it out yet.

How is your Saturday so far? Mine involves lots of driving. First I drove the boys for art class at 2pm, but when I reach there, there were still sleeping, and I just can’t get Calvin to wake up! He is like a log! Ha! So I had to put forward their class till 4:30 and I had to drive all the way home to sleep, ‘cos I myself were sleepy too. So we all sleep in for about an hour. But Mervin wasn’t doing that. After his bottle of milk, he got up and wanted to play some games in the computer. Okay, if he is alone, he is fine, no one to poke his back or argue with him. It would be otherwise if Calvin was awake. I can alway hear him yell out to mommy.

So I suppose they are in their art class enjoying themselves now.

Mother’s Day Cards

I didn’t do a lot of cards to give a way for Mother’s Day, here are those that I managed to make and sent to friends:

Those below are almost the exact replica from Kristii, of course hers is prettier, Thanks Kristii for the inspiration!

I’ve got it!!

Yes! I’ve got my Slice!! So cool! I know I know.. after trying it out and just couldn’t resist in using it to make a card out, I did this:

Yes, indeed, life is good! Have used up some scrap and did the dimensional flowers with gel medium, love it! Though I think the Pink Slice would be even better with hands-free function. Still, no regret!

Next I did this using the Scrapbook Deals 4U January kit, my belated kit actually, ‘cos it only came in a week ago, right before I have my holiday. So happy to have got it.

The photo was taken on the last day of 2009, one person is not in the photo is my brother. Yup, these are my sisters and parents, awesome, right!? Uh, and I’m loving that butterfly cut out using Slice. Am already thinking to get the other two Basic Elements design cards.. *grin*.

Uh, and I gotta find out where to get that oil absorbent piece of doily paper, just love it. There are in some other sizes too!
Oh ya, another great news, I’m having Internet connection at home now, yippie!!
Product used: We R Memory Keepers layered chipboard – teenangst, Bella Blvd Honey I’m Home PP and label additions, Maya Road chipboard, Making Memories Paperi, Slice basic element 1 design card, Tattered Angels glimmer mist.

As promised

These are the two cards that Calvin made for Jesus and daddy as mentioned in my previous post. He likes to incorporate some drawing, cutting and stamping into his card. Aren’t they adorable? Some words are written with me holding his hand, some he copy from me. But all his idea with a bit of guidance from mommy. I think he is as creative as mommy or even better.

Today he said he wanted to make a mini album with his own photos. Going to process some photos for him later.
