Happy!

Oh gosh! I’ve just got my April kit from Scrapbook Deals 4U plus the Basic Grey page kit, plus (!!) a gift kit that I’ve won from the birthday party! Yippie!! There is so much to play with, now I felt overwhelm with all those kits! Gosh!
I still have a kit that sent by Helen from Scrap a little (which I’ve made 2 pages so far), the Basic Grey Origins page kit (un-touch!), Studio Calico kit and so much left over from the previous kit, plus (yes!!) those Scrapbook Deals 4U kits that I haven’t finished using yet!
But now I’m crazy over sewing, definitely want to make a zipper bag tonight with the same fabric of this bag.
Oh, and I’ve a tutorial on those doily flowers that I’ve learned from Donna, go check it out in Scrap a little.
As for tonight (20th over in the US) , there is going to be a revealed in Creative Scrappers on a layout that I did using their awesome sketch.
Oh, have you checked out the blog hop for Scrap a little yet? Check here to win yourself a RAK from me and other DTs on their respective sites.

I think I’m crazy

over sewing now.
Ya.. have been checking on online tutorials from bag at first, to tissue holder and now to little girl shirt! Yes, I don’t have a little girl to make that girl shirt for, but hey, I do have a niece, but then she is no longer little. She is tall! Way too tall to get into her father’s shirt. Anyway, it was fun to go through those tutorials and enjoyed those cutie photos.
I’ve gone to get some zips, pins and stuff for my next sewing project which I hope to make a small cutie pouches. I did made a bag by the help of Anna’s tutorial.

Oh ya, have you read about the Scrap a little blog hop yet? Go find out here.

Happy Monday!

Count down

Yes, ever since hubby is away for work, and once he has touched down, he’ll start counting down for his next trip home. Just can’t wait type. So here is a layout that is done for him – Count Down.

Did this layout base on a sketch by Kristine Davidson over at Scrapbook Deals 4u. This is the 2nd time I’m using the sketch, and 2nd time using it with Studio Calico‘s kit. I still have lots of stuff from that kit and yet I’m getting my 2nd kit today! The April Kit! Yes! Buoy, I have so much things to play with and so less time.
I wish I’m on holiday now, scrap holiday would be the best, or maybe a scrapping escape!

Here is a close-up of the layout on the chipboard letter stickers that I’ve inked with blue ink to make them pop a bit. I’m using the PP with numbers ‘cos this layout is to do with number, right?

So, have you all leave a comment in my post about Scrap a little blog hop? NO? Go ahead, read here.

Happy Wednesday!

Have you done that yet?

Are you following my site and also leaving a message on my previous post to stand a chance to get the RAK that I’ve prepared? You have until the end of the month to do so, and to participate at the blog hop layout challenge over at Scrap a little to win Helen’s RAK too.

There is another thing that I would love all of you who own a blog to do this: Carbon Neutral your site. Just check this out here and start helping the mother earth to get well by planting more trees to neutralize those carbon footprint that our sites created.
I hope all of us can do our parts for our mother earth.

Storage

Yup, did something new last night. Something that I’ve been wanting to do with my not-being-carried-around-basket. I’ve turned it from this:

To this:
With my unskilled sewing methods. At least now it is being filled up with bedsheets and put it in a visible place of the room. I’m loving it and I’m intending to do another one to my also not-being-carried-around-basket *wink*.

Baby magazine

Do you like free stuff?! I do! Especially those with no string attach!
I stumble upon this free magazine online – http://www.freebabymagazine.com.

It is absolutely free and filled with good stuff, beautiful photos and genuine articles. It is giving out tips on breastfeeding, tantrum, snacks for toddler, dealing with pregnancy and many more. Should really go over to check it out. You can also be their fan over at FaceBook.

There is even a contest going on right now for referring people to their site, check it out here.

Happy reading!

So excited

Yes, my layout is being featured in Scrapbook Deals 4U as the layout of the week! Yup, I’m so happy about it, glad that it has been picked. Hope to do more layouts that are inspiring and able to catch others’ attention.

Head on over for more inspiration at Scrapbook Deals 4U in their gallery, you’ll find lots of great layouts there.

Now, after seeing what Iris Babao Uy has done, I’m planning to use a sketch from Pencil line too, hope to get the right photos for it.

Oh, and I’ve just reserved a March kit from Studio Calico, the QUILTING BEE ! Their February kit sold out in lighting time! Really looking forward for it and also the Slice design card – basic shape 3 from Scrap-n-Crop, can’t wait, can’t wait.

Happy Scrapping!

My little scrap corner

Yes, I finally had got my scrap corner ready with a banquet table, an album cabinet that can fit in my American Craft ring album, a magazine rack that I’ve filled up with stuff.

It still doesn’t look complete to me, there are still things missing. I would love to have those Making Memories jars and Desktop Carousel. I’m eying on things that look like Doodlebug Fashion Furnishing Line Collectable Cupboard and Paper Cube. Hoping to make my little corner with more colors.
I need more basket too, the type that I can put clothes on the inside and store my scrapbook stuff.
Oh, I definitely need a good chair, preferably with wheels.
Another thing is I hope to be able to display my works on the wall or maybe on some wall mounted shelves, even better with shadow box.
I think sooner or later this corner will be filled with storage cabinet and stuff. Let’s just say, this is a start. A good one I must say.
Hmm.. and now I’m still waiting for my kit from Scrapbook Deals 4U *sigh* Why do I stay so far away from the States.

My favorite 10

I just can’t do a top ten ‘cos I’m not sure which is my number one in the list, so I’m doing a random favorite 10 of my layouts.
So, in random order, here they are: (click to see bigger image file)

“Two-gather” –
will be shown on 17th Jan.

I love each and everyone of these layout, they are meaningful to me both in memories and being creative. Scrapbooking is one way in finding myself really.

Thanks for dropping by.

Join in the fun!

Scrapbook Nook is having a blog hope at the moment, go check out “Life as Lou” first in order not to miss any blog. I’m following Lady Grace and seeing all her beautiful creation using the Nook’s kit, am already thinking if I should get their kit as well.

Well, good luck everyone and have a good weekend. Mine is already having a headache with my boys keep bugging me about this and that.
