Projects on hand

I have Disney’s photos that are way overdue that are still in the normal album got from photo processing shop. I’m putting that into my to-do-list.

I’ve this 8″x8″ album sent from Coconut Scrapshop last year. I wanted to finish putting up all the photos by using the “40 photos in 4 hours” way that I’ve tried before. But this time is with a bigger album and maybe I’ll be using more PP and cardstock as I can’t just cut 4 out from a 12″x12″ paper for this. I still have lots of PP from Hot off the press personal shopper kit, I hope to use those and not needed to buy in any new PP or cardstock for this project. Wanted to finish the project with the least money spent.

I’m also having another thing that I wanted to finish it quick – curtains for my room and my brother’s room. They are all worn out and dirty. I’ve started sewing last night and managed to finished the curtains edges. I’m so going to finish them tonight *grin*. I even snap a photo last night before getting to bed and wanted to put this into my Project 365.

Day 41

Journal: Project on hand that I wanted to do – new curtains for my room and John’s room. Bought the material from Jackel silk house, new in Alamesra. Managed to sew two pieces last night with sis’ sewing machine. Hope to finish it fast and see them hangs in the rooms.

I still have 2 cards in hand that I haven’t post out for Valentine’s day, blind me.. it would be too late by then.. but still, I’ll try to mail them out tomorrow.

Day 39

Celebrating the last day of Chinese New Year early. Uncle Kiun & wife, Uncle Kong and family, Ms Chiam & family were all there last night to have dinner with us. Opened up 3 tables during dinner. Later followed by “Jin la mi” game, fireworks and firecracker too! Definitely fun night for the kids.

Day 38

No photo taken. But we have been to try out the golf session in Likas, Cal absolutely love it. But I’ve decided not to enroll as member ‘cos I might not be able to bring him there.

Day 37

Brought Mer to City Mall, he was so excited with it and sure enough got his Vitagen.

Layouts

I love the Color Me Daisy January kit! I didn’t know that I can do these three layouts from it, but of course plus some other stuff from the previous kits and also from my stash. It has Pink Paislee Sweet Cake collection of pattern paper, letter sticker and die-cut paper plus My Mind’s eyes pattern paper.

First one: What I love to see.. the two of you holding hands so dearly walking together.
My two boys while we were in Hong Kong.

Other than the January kit, I’ve used a Maya Road chipboard butterfly.

The 2nd one is one about my little nephew from my hubby’s site. He is darn cute, I love it especially when he smile back at me, almost all the time!
To this layout, I’ve use the January kit plus Bazzill Basic just the edge, American craft foam letter thicker, Maya road chipboard butterfly, Screen print swirl frame and a blue Prima flower.

The 3rd one is one that I wanted to keep a record of – Family tradition. These was taken while my boys was watching how the Chinese cake is being done by my parents. Again, I’ve used things from the kit plus some other letter stickers, flowers and swirl stamp.

I also did 3 cards, but not going to show them here though.. just in case the person is looking for I’m going to send them out *grin*.

Day 36

I was working night shift and let Mer follow me to the office, so he ended up playing with some games on the public PC. At the end of the day, he doesn’t want to leave and request to go back there again.

Cards to say hello and for V Day

Here are two cards that I’ve made using the same sketch and I’ve made some alteration on the placement of the pattern paper.

First is a card for V Day which is exactly how the sketch look like over in SoCalScrap February cards sketch challenge.

I’m entering the one below into the challenge, though it has been altered a bit. I hope these two cards can be sent ASAP just in time for V Day.

Product used: American craft PP and ribbon, Imaginisce PP, Bazzill Basic cardstock and just the edge, letter stamp from HOTP, felt heart from Queen & Co., the overlay frame from Pamela from winning her sketch challenge last year.

I found that it is easy to make cards when there is a sketch available and also some left over from my stash of PP, and I still love my fiskar border punch.

Card and layout

It was a special day yesterday, it was Archilles 1st birthday. Archilles is one brave boy that is being love more than anyone else I suppose even though his father is already in heaven. I’ve made a colorful card for him yesterday plus ang pow. Not sure if he’ll enjoy it but hopefully Archilles mom like it *wink*.

As for late last night after the birthday dinner, I managed to do a layout about Cal on how brave he is. He is not afraid of bugs, not like the mother *grin*.

I’ve used the Kelly Pinacci’s PP which I’ve bought long time ago, should be around 2007. I think it goes nicely in this layout.

Product used: PP from Kelly Pinacci, stamps from Maya Road and Making Memories, chipboard stickers, ribbon and some PP from American Craft.

Thanks for looking.
