Did two cards, one is inspired by this challenge.

Another card is made within half hour for a friend whom invited us for dinner in her place last night.

I’ve embossed the butterfly stamped. Use my fiskar punch again *wink*.

Product used: A micture of American Craft, Scenic Route, Queen & Co., Hero Arts and some other that I can’t remember.

Day 24
Went out for lunch in Secret Recipe. The boys enjoyed their crazy time like usual. They shares my Cheese Choc till I only got a few bite.

Day 23
Hubby came home and have totally forgotten about this project, so photo only taken on the next morning

I can’t

I can’t update this post as what I wanted, such as putting up my project 365 and those cards and pages that I would love to do. I’m not in my usual place now where I can have access to my scraproom. This PC that I’m using has just got a new hard-disk with the minimal software.

Oh well, let me just enjoy my holiday now and will update this blog after this week.

Gong Xi Fa Cai!!

Project 365

I know I’m going to be greedy again, I wanted to capture so many things in a day. Sometimes I have none. Just like what happen in this post.

Day 21

This is the book that I read using less than two days’ time. It is actually a horror story: 暗黑童話 by Otsu Ichi. Took this photo after mid-night when I’ve just finished reading it.

Day 22

Met my two ex-colleagues, one coming back from UK for a visit, so we have a gathering in Old Town Cafe today. A bit regretted to bring Mer with me as he always wanted my attention, so I’ve missed most of the conversation with the girls.

This one is extra, will decide later if I’ll include this in the project – Little Mer with his strawberry donut, look how messy he got.

Color inspiration #39

I managed to do a page last night using the color inspiration #39 of Kristina. I hope my colors are as close as what she has suggested.

I stamp twice using the butter, once on the card using black ink and once on a white cardstock using red ink, then pop up the butter on top in the card. Love that.

Product used: I’ve used the My Mind’s eyes Lil Girl stamp came together from Color Me Daisy January Kit. American Craft Modabella pretty pattern paper and ribbon. Hero Arts clear stamp, Bazzill Basic just edge cardstock.

Day 19

The boys have so much toys that they always made a lot of clutter and they just scatter all around the play area. I decided to go through them and have throw away one big bag of broken toys. Then divided them into different baskets, now (at least) the place look much better.

Day 20

Cal has been bugging me to make him some soft toys that he saw from an old book of mine since Monday. So I’ve decided to make him his first request and I only managed to finish one after they have gone to bed

Following

Following a sketch in 2peas – A year in cards classes, I came up with these:

On layout, after seeing how Devos_mummy did a page for Happy Hour over in SoCalScrap, I came up with these:

Notice the way I used those letter stickers? Yup, I’ve run out of “s”, “u” and “e”.

These photos were taken while we were over in Hong Kong Avenue of Stars on new year. I’ve distressed the photos and part of the layout.

The page below is one that I tried using color and B&W photos together. I don’t want to make it too fancy too, so came up with this clean photo blocking page.

My little nephew pointing a toy gun at me when I took his photos.

Products used: Mixture of things from Scenic Route, Maya Road, American Craft, MaxMillan, Bazzill Basic, Daisy D’s, My mind’s eyes and of course my Fiskar puncher and Marvy shape punches.

25 days

This is a late post about the mini book that I’ve done following Ali Edwards’ suggestions – 25 days till Christmas. It looks kind of messy with all those stuff sticking out from the album and with the irregular sizes of the pages. Still, it is a new experience for me and this year most probably I’ll use an album with protector, ‘cos my pages with photos seems to stick together, so I’m trying to add more clear sheet in between the photo pages, or using overlay frames.

I still have days that don’t come with any photo at all.

Thanks for stopping by.

The 4-hour project

These are the pages from the project I’ve mentioned in this post for using only 4 hours to finish a album contains 40 photos. I did more than that, I’ve more than 40 photos in this album and I’ve used 2 nights to put all the photos together but use another night to put them all in the album as I got the album only later.

This is the title page, sorry for the blur photo taken last night.
These are some pages inside the 6″x6″ album:

This is super fast, so I’m thinking to do another album but this time on a 8″x8″ for our Disney trip.
