Cards cards cards

Done 3 cards last night, two are for challengs, maybe will put all in my Etsy shop.
One card is for Coconut Scrapshop August card challenge which need to use chipboard, another one is a sketch challenge in 2sketch4u.

The one below is for Coconut Scrapshop August card challenge. I’ve used star chipboard from Maya Road and swirl brad from HOTP.

This one below is for the sketch challenge in 2sketch4u. I’ve used all pattern paper, tag, flower and ribbon from HOTP Personal Shopper Chirstmas Kit. The flower brad is from Making Memories. Probably will put this one up for sale in my Etsy shop before Christmas.

As for this one below, I was playing with my stamp set that I’ve just received from Scrap-n-Crop yesterday. I was so happy to get it together with my heating tool, and embossing powder that I play with them right away! I’ve used all things from HOTP Personal Shopper Kit too, except the white flower is from Prima and flower brad from Making Memories. This one will definitely be up in my Etsy shop.

Thanks for looking and have a great weekend!

What I’m dying to have now

I’m so excited and yet so sad.. ‘cos I’ve got my Coconut Scrapbooking July kit and I’ve run out of glue!!
First, I finished up my Herma glue tap, then I used my glue stick, then I finished that also! Now I only got end of the glue stick which I need to dig out using my cutting knife!
I wanted to order quick, but there just not enough fund in my paypal at the moment for me to do my order from Scrap-n-Crop (its the fastest as it is from KL). I wanted to buy some other things together with my glue, else it is a waste of the shipping charge.
Another exciting thing is that I’ve just got my Creating Keepsakes August issue. So I suppose I’ll just have to do lots of reading before getting my glue and before I can play with the July kit.
The kit has got so many fun things inside, chipboard lettering, stars and album, buttons, lots of Scenic Road Liberty line, flowers and a star stamp! Now I just have to get the glue quick!

blogin’

shss.. I have been blogging all the while that I could, no matter where. Even if I was out from my office in another state, in a new environment, I tried to log in and update my blog. I did that when I was over in Kuching, taking the opportunity of their public services with free access to the internet during free time, and also enjoying the 15 minutes compliment surfing time in Hilton.

My colleague who went with me during that trip took a picture of me while I was working or rather blogging and I’ve scrap that photo together with information on the blogs that I’m maintaining.

Partly inspired by Project scrap-away in Scrap-n-Crop on their black and white challenge, I’ve decided to use my B&W PP. I’ve also saw this great layout in 2peas by Laura Vegas that is just so inspiring and I’ve decided to scraplift the layout. I will probably do another layout following just like hers again as I do have the patter papers that she is using in her “hapiness” layout.

I know the title spelled wrongly, but I’ve run out of letter g, and it does look at bragin’ huh? Which probably is what I’ve been doing all this while online. *grin*

The tags are from HOTP monthly kit and errow from Maya Road, not sure what brand is the B&W pp, the rest are from HOTP.

Sisters LO

I’ve managed to do a layout without using brads on those embellishment that needed brads to secure them, like flowers. I used jewel / pearl stickers instead. And well.. I think my layout is not boring (I hope).
Here is a layout done for the friendship that me and my eldest sister share with a friend of ours having the same surname with us. She is like a sister to us.

Scallop light blue pattern pattern is from Scrap-n-crop Earth Day kit (this is just nice for the silver dress of my friend). Red polka-dot pattern paper is from American Craft. Flowers from Prima and HOTP (they bring out the colour of the red shirt), letter stickers from Basic Grey.
I really love scallop paper ever since I used it in “Style” layout.

p/s: I think I better stop taking photos at night right after I finished my layout, they always look dark and dull.

Bloggerwave

Here is a short post about the new opportunity for bloggers who would like to make money from their blog.
I’ve just recently registered with Bloggerwave and got approved for their program to earn while blogging. It is pretty simple, just as long as you have a blog, registering with them is free and you can add up to five blogs! At the moment, there aren’t many opportunities available, but given time they’ll improve on that and hopefully I’ll get more chances to earn from the Net and buy my scrapbook materials easily. By the way, they pay through Paypal.

Evidence

I’ve found several photos showing my boys reading. Yup! They loves to read, they love it especially if Mommy is reading to them. They’ll request more after one book before bed. They go into a book shop and demanded to buy books, once they were there, they’ll drag my hand over to those shelves that displaying their favourite books, in most cases, “Thomas & Friends”. So I’m going to do scrapbook pages about this and I wanted to include a pictures of books somewhere in the page. So I snap a few last night then decided to just use one and I had it developed to small size (3.5″ x 2.5″). They call it 2up of 3R over here. It turns out very cute indeed.

Let’s see how I can do that page tonight. A page about reading and maybe another page about their love for Thomas & Friends.

Oh.. another one is for their love of Donut, especially little Mer.

Yesterday after getting him from babysitter, the first thing he said was:

Mommy.. the rain has stop
Me: Ya…? (suspecting something is in his mind)
Mer: Go to City Mall, buy donut (with a big grin)

Infact it was even raining, just because my reason last time for not going is it was raining. So he does love donut huh!?
So we did stoped by City Mall and he ate two without finishing them la.. he just make sure that he ate all the stuffing of blueberry in the middle.
I started to collect more evidence about donut right after the box is empty. How? By cutting out the label on the box! Yay!

Back to the routine

I’m back from China, “YAY”!

First “YAY” is for those time that I can spend to do my scrapbooking, ‘cos I can’t bring all my stuff over there. Going to share more about this in my next posting.

Second “YAY” is I can start wearing my working clothes again. Being a stay at home mom doesn’t give me the opportunity to do that.. dress myself up. Furthermore I’m just lazz around with my jeans and T-shirts. I don’t even need to think about what to wear and what accessories to put on, I’m basically just wear my only accessories: my watch.

Talking about fashion, there is this site that is offering search to fashion schools including fashion schools in California or fashion schools in Los Angeles. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to use this, but hey, for those people who are interested in doing their degree or further their knowledge in a more professional environment should give it a try to study in fashion school in California.

Having new domain soon

Yupe.. am in the middle of building up my site in a new domain which is solely own my me!! Yay!
I’m actually in the middle of doing the setting for the new site. Will announce soon.
Since I’ll be away to China for a week, and they have this firewall that blocking a lot of sites, so finger cross that I still can access it in China for a week.
I had been having trouble assessing to blogspot there before and those post that I’ve uploaded doesn’t contain a title, ‘cos I’ve been using Google doc to post. I even had to ask a friend’s help to edit them for me so that I can get my post up in 3P or smorty.
Hopefully this time all went well and hey, no flu please!

Chances to increase page rank?

Told you I’ve been surfing and maybe got addicted to this blogging thing, so I’m searching for ways to increase the page rank of my site. Read somewhere that saying in order to have a higher rank, I’ll need to have better traffic both in and out from my site. As for the “out” part, I can easily do that by linking others from my blog, but as for the “in” part, I’ll need to registered with search engines, or get people to link back to me which is quite limited on my resources.
Then stumble upon this site that is offering the service: Buzzfuse.com. It allows you to sign up for free!
This site will then be able to increase the traffic on my blog and hopefully raise my google ranking.
So, why not? Try it, I did!

Addicted

I think I’m getting addicted to the online world of blogging.
Since I’ve registered with some online pay post thing which gave me opportunity to earn by posting reviews on their products and sites, I’ve been using the money online also through pay pals. It is pretty simple, with a few clicks and it is totally safe. If I’ve got enough in my account, then I dont’ even need to use my money in the bank. So it is all like online money which I only see the amount online. Haven’t even try withdrawal from my credit card and it is already gone.
So surfing online has been a daily thing for me. Sometimes repeatedly clicking the refresh button hoping to get new opportunity.
It has been slow lately, not many post that I can get, sometimes even none. If no opportunity at all, that means no online income, on online income, means I can hardly get any scrapbooking material online without affecting the size of my wallet.
That is a bit worrying to me, since like I’ve said, I got addicted, both online and scrapbooking.
