Low batt?

Hmm.. I’ve been on the very low scale of creativity lately. Have been putting all my attention and energy over at renovating my house and my kids. I would say this is my “low battery” time for my creativity side. No matter how much I would love to do a page or a card, I ended up doing nothing and simply staring at my scrap desk. I wanted to create a mini album like Liz Kartchner did. I wanted to do a mobile too, which I wanted to try on new techniques on those butterfly chipboards. But I just couldn’t do them *sob sob*

I hope my creativity senses, mood or battery.. come back on again pretty soon, maybe I should go process some photos.

Cards and tags

Have almost done the gift wrapping for the kids. Am bringing some over with me to China. Will only let them open on Christmas day. Can’t wait to see their faces. I’ve done a few tags to put on the gifts and also some more Christmas cards.

Joyful Greetings

Did two cards with the same sentiment “Joyful Greetings”. Top one using Scenic Route, Pink Paisley and American Craft pattern papers. 2nd one also using Scenic Route and American Craft pattern papers. I pop both the tags up with foam adhesive, so sad to learn that Scrap-n-crop run out of the adhesive *sigh*.

I would proabaly have more Christmas card to make, will see how.

Cards, cards, cards

These are the final batch of cards that I’ve made for the charity, very similar designs as I was making them in big batch. I almost used my scallop circle punch and plain circle punch in everyone of them, love those punchers.

The paper use on these cards below is actually a wrapping paper. The flowers and “thanks” stamps are from HOTP. I’ve used color pencil on the flowers.

By the way, was it yesterday or today that those in the US are celebrating Thanksgiving?
Anyway, Happy Thanksgiving!!

layout and cards

I’ve been keeping myself busy with some more cards to make for the charity drive that my friend did. So more thank you cards to make, I need to make 40 cards this time. That is a good news knowing that so many people give for the charity.

The one below were my boys and their cousin busy staring into the play-station
Below is my nephew playing with some blocks and he was so serious in doing it.

This one is some precious moment that I saw. I’ve scraplifted it from Scrapbook Trends, Aug issue. edite: I’ve scraplited from Anabelle O’Mal, “R we there yet?”.

Product used: Pattern paper from October Afternoon: Chilly Mornings, Pink Paislee: Vintage Moon, chipboard stickers from American Craft, ric rac from Color Me Daisy monthly kit.
There, all those cards made over weekend. I’ve used Pattern paper from Paper Wardrobe, ribbons and little flowers courtesy of Stampers’ corner, and my punchers. Love those punchers.

Still have another 30 more to make.

The rest of the card

This is the 2nd batch of the cards to thank those generous donor, another half dozen.

Notice there is this circle in every card (except one)? Yup, I’ve just got my 2.5″ circle punch the other day, so put it into good use right away! Maybe I should also get those in smaller sizes.. hmm..

TFL.

For charity

My colleague and friends will be going to visit a convent this Saturday. They needed some donation in cash, bags and maybe some clothing. If you do want to donat, please contact Jenn. What I’ve been asked to do is some thank you cards for those generous people who has donated cash. I am so glad that I can help and at least give something back.
I’ve plan to make a dozen similar cards with some pattern papers from my Easy Scrapbooking calender. Since they are all not for sale item, I didn’t use all archival safe product in this project, so it is a low cost thing. I had fun doing it.
Going to make the other half dozen tonight.

Christmas cards

Did another 2 cards for Christmas with the same greetings inside: “may the holiday season bring you good cheer”.

Actually got people asking if I can sell it to them, I mean only for those who are in KK, then probably they can collect it from me. If you are interested, you can always email me. Or.. if you have specific orders, you can always email me too.

note: sorry for the blur images.

Addicted?

I think I’m getting addicted to online scrapbook challenges! I’ve done another two last night just for fun.
The card below is for Tamara scrapping recipe challenge:

Yes, I know it is still months away to Christmas, but I just feel like using that flower and wording from the Christmas kit of HOTP. Probably will put up for sale in my etsy shop later.

Another challenge I did was for a scrapbooking group in myspace which require to do a layout using only white, blue and green. So this is what I came up with:

I’ve used: American craft PP, Ribbon, chipboard letter thickers; HOTP PP; transparency from Coconut August kit and a 3D stickers.

I’ve a great news too, I’ve just found out that I’ve won the weekly challenge over in Color Me Daisy by doing their sketch by doing this layout!
