Little flyers LO

Did this layout awhile back for Label Tuip girl lift challenge and haven’t got time to load it, so here it goes, my little flyers. Hmm.. am I using the wrong spelling here? Anyway, what I mean is they are frequent flier. Oh.. now I see.. I’ve got the wrong spelling. :p

This layout is inspired by Label Tulip girl: Kimberly Garofolo Neddo’ Garden girls, I’ve flip the original layout

I wanted to actually make a layout that have clouds there and I wanted to play with my acrylic paint. But after using it, I regretted and thus I use embossing technique to further enhance the texture on the paint. The next thing I wanted to do was actually to have a bird or air-plain in the layout, but I ended up using the butterflies instead.

Material used: Core-dination cardstock, American Craft chipboard letter stickers, Maya Road chipboard letter, Kaiser Craft pearls, some lace and pom-pom, butterflied die-cut from Suzanne 😉

This moment

I know.. these photos look more like for the title “BFF”. But I don’t really know if they are best friends, and I don’t even know how to spell his name! So, to me, this is more like what I love to see in Mervin. My journal is: This moment, I love you because… you are having fun with your classmate, you are easy to be with, and just because you are you.

I do love to see him play with his friends, I do enjoy his laughter and silliness while he play, just as long as he doesn’t get too rough.

Material used: Fancy pants rub-on, Jenni Bowlin Rhinestone button, Lily Bean French couture, Fiskar border punch, Making Memories journal piece.

Another thing, about my Project 365. I’m way behind and loosing the zest maybe ‘cos I don’t have the kit on hand, maybe ‘cos I’m not sure how to start to put them into 12×12″ layout, maybe I’m just too tight up with other things, maybe I am just not patient enough. Is it bad to just drop the project? hmm..

Maybe if…

Maybe if I’ve taken the day off, maybe if I didn’t send you there, maybe if you were not persistend, then you won’t have been punished for things that you haven’t done wrong, ‘cos all you wanted was just to have some friends, ‘cos you think others are just as friendly as you are. Just maybe… 12 June 2009

I’m using a sketch from Scrapbook Deals 4U and the idea of using buttons in SoCalScrap.

Product used: My Mind’s Eye five bird beauty fond circles paper, American Craft remarks fashion accents 1, Pink Paislee holly doodle letter sticker and enchanting rub-ons, some buttons. These are from Scrapbook Deals 4U kit.

Apple of her eye

Did a page using sketch from Scrap-it-lah site, plus the receipe that was mentioned in ColorMeDaisy and yet I forgot one thing from the recipe, the circle! *LOL*.

A close-up of those cut out remake flowers:

Journal: Mom’s face lights up every time she sees him. He obey and listen to her more than me. Even when he did something wrong, she will still laughs about it. Mervin, the apple of my mom’s eyes. – journal on 12 Jun 2009

Product use: My Mind’s Eye Deena’s Penny Lane and Garden Party PP, American Craft chit chat accent, some buttons, chipboard and lace that I got from Vietname. This are from the kits from Scrapbook Deals 4U.

Layouts from kits

Did these two layouts with Scrapbook Deals 4U kits and Color Me Daisy Kits, plus the help of sketches from SoSketcy.
These two layouts are basically fast in putting up since the kit basically coordinate everything.
I’ve been very behind with my scrapbook ‘cos I haven’t been able to touch them over the past weeks busy on my house renovation. Now that I’ve got that settle on the shoulder of someone else, I think I’m more in tune with myself. Will surely do more and to record my memory.

A lift

Lifted this layout from Creating Keepsakes’ magazine. I like the simplicity of it and I love these photos of my sons goofing around making fun in front of the camera, they are just so cheeky.

I made this for the circle challenge over in Color Me Daisy. I’ve actually used the pattern paper came in from scrapbook deals for you and the cardstock from CMD kit.

The layout is so simple that I keep on thinking if I should add more embellishment on it, I just felt that it is too simple *LOL*.

Two cards and a layout

These are the cards made upon request from my sister who wanted 2 thank you cards for her friends. So I’ve used a sketches from Got Sketch (sketch #79) and Beary Box (card sketch #21). It is so much easier with sketches and kits that are already coordinated. I’ve used some scrap and also kits from Color Me Daisy and Scrapbook Deals 4U. Thank God for that.

I’ve done a layout as well over the week, using a sketch from PageMap. But now I couldn’t find it. I read it over at someone else blog about the sketch.

I’m using lots of distressing here on my patter paper and the self-made flowers that I’ve learn online.

These are my boys trying to look goofy in the morning when I wanted to take photos of them.

Happy Monday!

What’s on my mind

Did a page following the sketch over in Page Maps. Another layout using Color Me Daisy March kit plus some Prima essentials 5 flowers and one pattern paper from HOTP from those old kits.

These were us during those days before I got married to hubby (then boyfriend). Amazingly all of us still keep in touch now a days and most probably thanks to the Internet. I’ve hide my journal behind the main photo using journal tag enhanced on white cardstock, completed with a spiral clip.

I feel like putting more embellishment on the page, but couldn’t think of any other.

Paint LO

Did a layout using Pamela Sketch 137 about my boys having fun in the Kiddies Club of Sutera Horbor last month. Thanks Pamela! Thanks to Color Me Daisy for their March kit too, that I’m able to put together this page pretty fast.

It was fun seeing them concentrate in painting. They were excited about it and so proud of their work.

Am using Color Me Daisy March kit which contain Glitz sparrow patter paper, American Craft stickers, Making Memories clip, plus my own Kaiser rhinestone and Bazzill Basic just edge cardstock.

Time flies

Ya.. didn’t realise I haven’t been updating my blog and posting the photos for project 365 these past few days. I’ve been busy catching up with work. There was just too many meetings to attend, problem to be solved and preparation to be done for next week. I might not be able to update my sites next week as I’ll be going away for 2 trips. So another thing is I won’t be able to join in the fun of challenges too. *sigh*.

But at the mean time, here are two things to share – a card and an LO done for online challenges. Good way to get me going in using all those scrap that I normally won’t think of using.

The card below is made for Mother’s day, an early one with brads that I’ve almost forgotten. As for this layout below, it is talking about my two boys on how they have enjoyed the ABC that they’ve tried the first time over in Tun Fuad Park.

Both projects have used stuff from Color Me Daisy Kits. Papers from Basic Grey, Pink Paislee and Making Memories journal booklet.

Thanks for stopping by.
