Fun, Love

I still think this page is lacking of something on the upper part of the page. Hmm.. probably I’ll add some bubbles somewhere…

Journal: Sharing {fun, love} & delight in simple things everyday!

This is actually for a challenge in Scrapbook Deals 4U as they are having a Cramfest there starting from this week. The challenge is to do a layout with any of the first 5 sketches available over in PageMaps for September, using 3 photos, combining journal and title together and use some punctuation in the title.
I’m using this sketch

Hmm.. some bubbles definitely need to be included.. will see how..

My boys were actually having some fun messing around with their hair in the bath while we were over in China.
TSL!

Product used: American craft letter thickers and stickers; Making Memories letter stickers, My Mind’s Eye Bloom & Grow PP; border punches from Fiskars.

Calvin

This is quite a plan page for me ‘cos I haven’t got any journaling in the page, which I’m thinking to put strips of journal not on the left of the page. I did this page by following a sketch from pagemaps and have used mainly My Mind’s eye product from Scrapbook Deals 4u kit. I’m also entering this for the Scrap-it-lah September challenge.

I used my glimmer mist for the first time on the bracket sign turning it into auburn.
Here, Calvin looks way older than he is, buoy.. my boy is growing so fast!
TFL.
Product used: Core color cardstock, My Mind’s eye bloom & grow pp, daisy bucket beautiful rub-on, Tim Holtz distress ink, Tattered angels glimmer mist – auburn

Celebrating love

Yup, this is a reminder for myself for I’m having two growing up kids, a hubby who is not so near physically and yet mentally here. This layout is for the rememberance of that and I wanted to keep this sweet memory of them while at play on the beach.
Am entering this for the Celebrating Love challenge over at Color Me Daisy.

In this layout, I’ve stamped on a tranparency and color it at the back. I did this on the umbrella stamp. It is fun!

Product used: PP from Prima Moda Collection – Lulu, Fancy Pants rub-on – the daily grind, American craft thickers, and chipboard stickers, Jilibean-soip PP – minestone, Glitz sparrow PP, Making Memories journal pade.

Little flyers LO

Did this layout awhile back for Label Tuip girl lift challenge and haven’t got time to load it, so here it goes, my little flyers. Hmm.. am I using the wrong spelling here? Anyway, what I mean is they are frequent flier. Oh.. now I see.. I’ve got the wrong spelling. :p

This layout is inspired by Label Tulip girl: Kimberly Garofolo Neddo’ Garden girls, I’ve flip the original layout

I wanted to actually make a layout that have clouds there and I wanted to play with my acrylic paint. But after using it, I regretted and thus I use embossing technique to further enhance the texture on the paint. The next thing I wanted to do was actually to have a bird or air-plain in the layout, but I ended up using the butterflies instead.

Material used: Core-dination cardstock, American Craft chipboard letter stickers, Maya Road chipboard letter, Kaiser Craft pearls, some lace and pom-pom, butterflied die-cut from Suzanne 😉

Apple of her eye

Did a page using sketch from Scrap-it-lah site, plus the receipe that was mentioned in ColorMeDaisy and yet I forgot one thing from the recipe, the circle! *LOL*.

A close-up of those cut out remake flowers:

Journal: Mom’s face lights up every time she sees him. He obey and listen to her more than me. Even when he did something wrong, she will still laughs about it. Mervin, the apple of my mom’s eyes. – journal on 12 Jun 2009

Product use: My Mind’s Eye Deena’s Penny Lane and Garden Party PP, American Craft chit chat accent, some buttons, chipboard and lace that I got from Vietname. This are from the kits from Scrapbook Deals 4U.

Two cards and a layout

These are the cards made upon request from my sister who wanted 2 thank you cards for her friends. So I’ve used a sketches from Got Sketch (sketch #79) and Beary Box (card sketch #21). It is so much easier with sketches and kits that are already coordinated. I’ve used some scrap and also kits from Color Me Daisy and Scrapbook Deals 4U. Thank God for that.

I’ve done a layout as well over the week, using a sketch from PageMap. But now I couldn’t find it. I read it over at someone else blog about the sketch.

I’m using lots of distressing here on my patter paper and the self-made flowers that I’ve learn online.

These are my boys trying to look goofy in the morning when I wanted to take photos of them.

Happy Monday!

Color inspiration #39

I managed to do a page last night using the color inspiration #39 of Kristina. I hope my colors are as close as what she has suggested.

I stamp twice using the butter, once on the card using black ink and once on a white cardstock using red ink, then pop up the butter on top in the card. Love that.

Product used: I’ve used the My Mind’s eyes Lil Girl stamp came together from Color Me Daisy January Kit. American Craft Modabella pretty pattern paper and ribbon. Hero Arts clear stamp, Bazzill Basic just edge cardstock.

TFL.

Color challenge

I did two cards with the color inspiration #38 of Kristina.

The first one is for Jewelle who just given birth to a baby girl, going to give her a visit over lunch hour.

A close up:

The 2nd one using the same colors, I’ve made a valentine’s card with felt heart again, this time plus a heart brad from Making Memories.

From the side:

I’ve used Bazzill Basic color cardstock with Imaginisce’s pattern paper that I got from Scrap-n-crop days ago. Those baby line are just so cute.

Addicted?

I think I’m getting addicted to online scrapbook challenges! I’ve done another two last night just for fun.
The card below is for Tamara scrapping recipe challenge:

Yes, I know it is still months away to Christmas, but I just feel like using that flower and wording from the Christmas kit of HOTP. Probably will put up for sale in my etsy shop later.

Another challenge I did was for a scrapbooking group in myspace which require to do a layout using only white, blue and green. So this is what I came up with:

I’ve used: American craft PP, Ribbon, chipboard letter thickers; HOTP PP; transparency from Coconut August kit and a 3D stickers.

I’ve a great news too, I’ve just found out that I’ve won the weekly challenge over in Color Me Daisy by doing their sketch by doing this layout!
